  4. This is an example pre-configured for the British Telecom telephone service.  It illustrates use of Time Variable rates with a minimum charge.

  6. Cheap rate during the week (Mon-Fri) is from 0000 to 0800, and from 1800 to 2400
  7.  
  8. Weekend rate on Sat and Sun is from 0000 on Sat to 2400 on Sun
  9.  
  10. Full use of 'Family and Friends' discount (currently 10 percent  for nominated numbers) and the Premier Line Discount (a further 15 percent for an annual fee of about 24UKP) is assumed
  11.  
  12. The minimum charge is 5 pence which with discounts frounds to about 4 p (ie 0.04 UKP).
